Amy Reid

I am the Director for the Galveston County Small Business Development Center. We are a program supported by the University of Houston and tax dollars. My primary responsibility at the GCSBDC is to provide advice to small business owners in Galveston County. I also work one on one with business owners to create and launch websites, print media materials as well as educate them on how to use social media effectively. The GCSBDC is here to help small business owners to launch their business, obtain loans, create business plans, teach marketing strategies, provide training for various business topics, and help existing businesses retain employees and grow. We are a nonprofit and the majority of our services are offered at no cost.
