SAVE THE DATE - Lunch and Learn APRIL 5th, 11:30 – 1:00
This FREE workshop “Lunch and Learn” is being offered by Carlos Fortin, of
TECHSOFT Computer Training Centers just for Santa Fe and North Galveston County Chamber Members. The Lunch and Learn will be held at the Historic Train Depot at 218 FM 517, Dickinson, TX. TECHSOFT is providing laptops for everyone, or you can bring your own. There is a limit of 40 guests so please do not wait to RSVP. Please RSVP now if you are interested in learning how the Chamber Website can help you promote your business. You may bring your lunch and the Chambers will provide Drinks and Dessert.
The overall goal of the workshop is to teach participants how to utilize Chamber Master to present their company /organization and to engage with fellow members and site visitors. Also to teach participants how email marketing and social media can be utilized to engage with new potential clients or customers. How to obtain your unique member number (this can only be obtained by calling Chamber Staff)

- How to place Hot Deals on the computer
- How to place an event of the Chamber Calendar
- How to place Job Openings
- How to register for an event online
- How to pay for an event online
- How to change their information - including adding a new representative
- How to add their website to their information
The Email and Social Media Marketing section will be an introduction to both tools. It will cover the following topics:
- What is email marketing?
- How can email marketing benefit my business / organization?
- What is social media?
- How can I use social media for my business / organization?
- How can I combine email marketing and social media?
