DESCRIPTION:Leadership Santa Fe is an immersive learning opportunity in leadership development\, community awareness and personal growth geared toward future leaders of Santa Fe. The program is designed to identify and assist individuals who want to learn more about the challenges facing the community and to train\, educate and motivate these individuals for future leadership roles within the community.\n\n\n\nWe will focus on these key areas: Business & Industry   Workforce Development   Government & Governance   Healthcare   Economic Development   Infrastructure   Education   Non-Profit Organizations Leadership Santa Fe will give participants first-hand knowledge of the "behind the scenes" of our community and the potential for a positive community impact through volunteerism and civic engagement. \n\n\n\nThe program consists of 10 one-day sessions that include team-building\, a trip to Galveston County Day at the Capitol\, and an end of program social. Leadership Santa Fe participants will be recognized at a graduation ceremony during the Chamber's Annual Awards' Dinner & Gala. The class will be composed of 32 individuals and will be chaired by former graduates of Leadership Santa Fe\, Cody Menzies and Jonathan Hamilton. \n\n\n\nThe application and $750 (for members\, $850 for non member) enrollment fee entitles the participants to local and out of town transportation\, lunch\, transportation to Galveston County Day in Austin and a graduation plaque. Participants will also receive a Leadership Team collared shirt. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% is necessary to successfully complete Leadership Santa Fe.
