Galveston County Chambers of Commerce will all be represented as we represent our County and items of concern that are common to all of us.\n\n\n\n2019 is a critical legislative session for our county and the State of Texas with key topics such as property tax reform and relief\, coastal storm surge protection\, hurricane disaster relief management\, TWIA\, and numerous other issues being discussed by the legislature. The Galveston County legislators are working overtime to help push positive legislative for our area and this event will go a long way in showing everyone that we stand behind their efforts.\n\n\n\nWe will be recognized from the floor of the House of Representatives and Senate\, visit personally with Texas Legislators as small teams and have a Texas Gulf Coast reception for our elected officials and staff complete with a seafood feast. This is a great opportunity to have face-to-face time with officials and staff to discuss individual as well as Galveston County agenda items. You will be notified of the team you will be visiting legislators with and who your team leader will be closer to the event.
