DESCRIPTION:Santa Fe ISD's Education Foundation will honor local veterans at its 7th annual gala\, An Evening for Education. The event starts at 6 pm on October 21\, at Santa Fe Fire & Rescue.\n\n\n\nWe welcome the community to attend\, and to participate by submitting a photo of a veteran for a special video presentation at our event. The video will also be shared online\, and it will become a part of the collection of the Santa Fe Area Historical Foundation.\n\n\n\nIf you would like to honor a veteran family member or friend\, please email the following to veteran.project@sfisd.org:\n\n\n	1 photo of your honoree veteran (attach a .jpg\, .jpeg\, or .gif file\, about 5 MB in size)\n	Veteran's name\n	Which military branch they served\n	What years they served\n	Name of the person sending the veteran info (this will be our contact if there are questions)\n	Deadline: October 17\, 2016\n\nIf you only have a hardcopy print of your veteran photo\, you may call Jodi at 409-925-9080 to make an appointment to have us scan your photo. If you bring a cd or flash drive\, we will also provide you with a copy to keep.
